Nicaraguan Backcountry Fishing | Nicaragua
The 002 – Jungle Adventure program is about exploring the backcountry of Nicaragua’s Miskito region, where rivers, lagoons, and side channels stretch far beyond any roads or infrastructure. Fishing is part of the journey, but so is the experience of moving through a remote and still-wild landscape.
These explorations give anglers the chance to target tarpon, as well as other local species like guapote and snook, depending on location, conditions, and season. No two days are the same. Some days mean traveling deep upriver, others involve drifting quiet lagoons or stopping in places that see very little fishing pressure.
This is not a fixed itinerary or a polished package. Jungle Adventure is built around curiosity, flexibility, and adapting to what the water offers. The experience exists because of strong relationships with local communities, whose knowledge of the land and waterways makes these journeys possible.
002 – Jungle Adventure is for anglers who enjoy exploring, taking their time, and experiencing fishing as part of a broader connection to place, people, and nature—simple, honest, and real.
